One of my most favorite farm things is to get loves from "Bella"! This recent photo is us rubbing heads! "Bella" is soft and fluffy with beautiful wavy hair on her head ... she is learning to be gentle while I groom her and give her hugs.
SWEDISH BLUE ducks are an awesome fun part of the farm life! Coco has actually laid a few eggs while here on the farm.
COCO (left) and EDWARD (right)are an elegant part of the duck flock we currently own. They came to us as adults and they were very shy with us in the beginning. We are now gaining their trust and they can be held. "COCO and EDWARD" are too big to carry around but they enjoy their own quiet space and private baths together. They are growing to be quite the awe inspiring ducks and will eat loads of bugs ... keep watching for their offspring's pictures in the future.. Due to the weather and for their safety, we are keeping them inside our animal shelter for the Winter. |
